Today, the company has grown to be a collaboration among drama students from all over the country to provide and inspire young people in the arts. Company members are currently studying at many notable universities including: the University of Evansville, Northwestern University, North Carolina School of the Arts, University of Northern Kentucky, RADA in London, and New York University's Tisch School of the Arts & Gallatin School of Individualized Study. It is our goal that everything from preproduction to the final bow, and even sweeping up afterwards, is done by young professionals. Theatre is a constantly evolving art dependent on artistic cooperation from every person involved. Fabrefaction provides the necessary nurturing environment for actors of any age to develop and hone their craft in a challenging and collaborative effort.

Last summer we worked with an organization called Reach For Excellence, which helps academically gifted students with limited opportunities, to help expose them to theatre through a series of workshops. We hope to continue to work with Reach and similar organizations this summer, and beyond.

We are currently building a brand new theatre facility at 999 Brady Avenue. The complex will house two theatres-a main stage and a black box and will be a huge step forward in Fabrefaction history. The space will hopefully be ready for our summer '09 season. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our Mission Statement:

We are committed to consistently developing and cultivating a theatre experience that focuses on the importance of theatre as an art, craft, and way of life through ensemble collaboration in all aspects of theatre production.  We hope to create an environment that is not limited by traditional structures, allowing people of every age and background the opportunity to bring new ideas to an established art form.  As a company founded by young professionals, we strive to wield our youthful exuberance and energy into each season and in the pursuit of new works and new artists.  By providing educational theatre opportunities we hope to develop a forum that fosters artistic aspirations, and, ultimately creates future theatre artists and patrons.  It is our mission to keep alive and live the very word that defines the company itself:
"FABREFACTION," the act of fashioning or making a work of art.
